Attorney David Lederer is a founding partner of Los Angeles–based civil litigation firm Lederer and Nojima, LLP. Mr. Lederer is known for his litigation, mediation and negotiation expertise in numerous areas of law, including personal injury and tort-related cases, bankruptcy law, employment and labor law, real estate law, contract law, insurance law and entertainment and media law. He serves in the capacity of a personal injury attorney in approximately 35 percent of his cases. Many cases are a result of automobile and truck and motorcycle accidents, and he has developed a specialty as a car accident lawyer, as well, frequently receiving appropriately well-compensated settlements from insurance companies for his clients. Mr. Lederer received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Syracuse University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University in 1992. He is happily married with a young daughter and, despite a demanding and hectic schedule and a 40-minute daily commute, quality family time is a matter of high priority. "My wife is interested in my work and is a source of valuable insight for me." He enjoys participating in outdoor activities when possible.

Mr. Lederer's purpose is to "serve the people that need us in the best way possible. Those who are aggrieved are entitled to compensation. Those who are falsely accused are entitled to reinstatement. Nothing is more satisfying and rewarding than trying a case in the pursuit of justice." Attorney Lederer's desire to authentically and skillfully serve his clientele is evidenced by the large number and percentage of cases that have been brought to successful closure on their behalf. As their legal representative, he is keenly aware that he serves an important purpose that is part of the greater equation. Some of the most challenging cases involve physical injuries to his clients. Cases involving dog bite injuries, bus accidents, car accidents and other physically debilitating or harmful injuries all involve real people. Their future well being is often dependent upon the outcome of the case. Wrongful death cases, brain injury cases, burn injury cases, and the occasional daycare injury case have all been successfully litigated, settled, mediated or resolved by Mr. Lederer. Mr. Lederer puts forth great effort to ensure that the compensation is accurately appropriate to help the victim go forward, heal, and whenever possible, resume, begin or maintain a normal life.

Mr. Lederer always has his IPad and cell phone with him and is in constant contact with his clients. He is regularly and frequently in and out of court. He is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, United States Federal District Court, Northern District of California, Eastern District of California, Central District of California, and Southern District of California. He is proactively involved with the legal community and teaches trial tactics at Bar Association Conferences, sharing his expertise with others. He is "a leader to others in the office, and as the managing partner, I try to guide them in their pursuits to make their work more meaningful." Indeed, Mr. Lederer has mentored many law students, legal professionals and attorneys as part of the process of being helpful and supportive.
