Ms. Lari-Joni attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving a B.A in Dramatic Literature and Fine Arts and a minor in Biology. She then continued her studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, in the Masters Degree program for Biological Sciences. Ms. Lari-Joni received her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, and was admitted to the California Bar that same year. While at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Ms. Lari-Joni was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honors Program and Moot Court team. Ms. Lari-Joni represented Thomas Jefferson in the American Bar Association Dispute Resolution and Mediation Competition where her oral negotiation skills propelled her team to 2nd place in the all-school ADR Copyright Competition in Arizona. While at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Ms. Lari-Joni served as the Thomas Jefferson representative for the Beverly Hills Bar Association and as the outreach president for the Thomas Jefferson Entertainment Law society. As a law student, Ms. Lari-Joni worked as a summer associate at the Independent Film and Television Alliance, and completed a one year clerkship at New Line Cinema, Business and Legal Affairs Department. Ms. Lari-Joni also served as a law clerk for the Law Offices of Carl D. Barnes specializing in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice. Ms. Lari-Joni is fluent in German, Farsi, Swiss and French, and practices in all areas of civil litigation.
